Mindy + Austin chose to devote their wedding portraits to the day after their wedding. As we hiked up to one of my favorite spots on the border of NC and TN, I watched as they soaked up all the “we’re finally married” moments. Surrounded by just the mountains with no real timeline and no guest to get back to — they were truly able to breathe + reflect. At the end of the session they looked at me and said “we don’t regret this one bit.” Of course these type of sessions aren’t meant for everyone, but if you find yourself thinking about wanting to add something a little different to your wedding experience then I highly suggest talking with your photographer about it.

Also I need to let the world know their first dance song was a mash up between a Drake and John Mayer song and I need MORE of this in my life.
